Eastern Red Columbine (Aquilegia Canadensis)

from $5.00

With bright colored nodding flowers, Eastern Red Columbine (Aquilegia Canadensis) is the star of the Spring garden.

Red Columbine’s beautiful red, yellow and cream flowers bloom in late Spring to early Summer feeding hummingbirds, bumble bees and others. While rabbits and deer don’t care for her boldness~ the hummers adore her flowers.

She stands 2-3’ tall in bushy upright clumps preferring the company of her peers in beds, borders, or other woodland-type setting. Eastern Red Columbine is lovely companion to native roses, lilacs and other native shrubs.
