See my Youtube video all about How to use Wool Pots

Fill your Wool Pot as you would a normal pot with peat-free potting soil. No need for ‘seed starting mix” that has no nutrition or ‘life’!

Then simply plant your seeds or cuttings and water in lightly. Care as you would per seeds needs for germination,

Place your Wool Pot in a tray or saucer such as terra cotta or even a tea cup saucer!

Seed GERMINATION TIP: Here at the farm, for seeds requiring light to germinate I place the pots on a windowsill or under workshop lights. Seeds that require darkness to germinate: after I mist the seeds in I cover the pots with a light weight burlap then mist the burlap. Checking every day for germination— once 50% of the pots (say 10 pots of tomato seeds) I then uncover and put under the lights…

WATERING; Water from the bottom as needed. Remember wool holds moisture longer than plastic so you’ll water the seedlings less too!

SPACING: Provide a few inches between each Wool Pot for air flow. If touching, the pots will begin to degrade from the soil contact.

PLANTING OUT: When your plant has grown big enough simply dig a hole and pop the entire plant in. No need for extra fertilzers ect. because the Wool Pot IS the fertilizer!!!

BE SURE TO LEAVE THE UPPER EDGE just above the ground. This ‘ring’ is a natural slug & snail deterrent!

BEE in the know as we grow!
