More deets …

Sure you could get those candy colored nativars of Yarrow but they don’t have the same ‘moxie’ as Common Yarrow.

This native species is a powerhouse of food for native pollinators!

Common Yarrow’s blooms are actually small whirled white flowers coming together to form a platform for pollinators to collect food.

Think of these flowers as ‘rest stops’ for pollinators!

Fun fact: Common Yarrow hosts many predators like parasitoid wasps and lady beetles who eat aphids! Like I always say… everybody eats ‘some buggy’ in a healthy garden!

Plant Profile

Common Yarrow loves basking in full sunshine but partial sunshine is nice too.

Prefers medium wet to dry sandyish soils as she spreads by rhizomes.

Doesn’t mind a ‘haircut’ to avoid spreading out in the garden- leafy companions will keep her in check!

On the shorter side up to 18” at most but she’ll bloom with moxie from June to September!
