2-4' round shrub with glossy leaves that blooms golden yellow pom-pom like flowers in Summer. These golden flowers turn into seed heads that feed overwintering birds.

Deer & rabbit resistant but a native bee magnet due to it's bright color and high pollen production. Bumblebees especially love this shrub!

When planted in groups of 3 ore more, Shrubby St.John’s Wort makes an excellent low ground hedge or visual border in the garden

PLANT DEETS

  • Naturally found in open wood, meadows, and roadsides

  • Average soils from dry to moist

  • Full Sun to Part Shade

  • Height 2-4’ by 2-4’ wide

  • Interplant with Golden Alexander, Aromatic Aster, Purple Coneflower, or native grasses like Switch Grass.
