A small but mighty native perennial! Growing in small clumps 1-2’ tall with bright yellow disk blooms May thru July. An excellent ground cover in sunny garden beds too!

Coreopsis lanceolata is that pal who wants to sit on the beach but not get their feet wet!

Grows best in sandy to average soils in full sun to part shade without a lot of moisture. Is an important food source for small native bees and butterflies. Dried seed heads are a favorite of birds like Gold Finches!
