Host plant for nearly 100 moths and butterfly larvae including the Unicorn Caterpillar (Coelodasys unicornis). A mighty food source for birds feeding hungry chicks in Spring!
Berries of Pagoda Dogwood are high in fat and mature just in time for migrating birds. They are also vital food sources for many overwintering birds like Evening Grosbeaks!
