What the pollinators love:

Flowers offer nectar AND pollen, large leaves to hide from predators in. Often hummingbirds and large bees such as bumblebees seen enjoying the blooms in late Summer into early Fall.

What we love about this plant:

Sweet rosey-pink flowers blooming in a light shade garden seem to GLOW against its deep green foliage on a hot Summer day.

It’s super easy to grow AND plays well with others! Growing 2-3 tall’ Chelones look stunning mixed with Wild Geranium, Coral Bells and any of the Lobelias!

What we don’t like:

Waiting for young Chelone lyonnii plants to bloom! Chelone lyonii grows well its first year from seed with a focus on getting strong roots. We eagerly await the arrival blooms of its second year and beyond.

Our plants are 1 year old and more! Add them to to your garden this FALL for blooms next Summer!

FALL PLANT SALE IS SEPTEMBER 9th! Per-orders get an invitation to our early bird happy hour to pick out your plants before e open to the public!
