Take a farm walk with Professor Orlova to ‘meet the bees’ who call Lazy Dirt Wildflower Farm and it’s woodlands home.
You’ll learn about native bees particularly bumblebees their habits, behaviors and communication.
Plus learn how you can help provide food and shelter for our native bees right in your own backyard!
Professor Orlova teaches in the Department of Biology & Chemistry SUNY Polytechnic Institute. She specializes in bee communication and conservation.
This event is free and open to all ages. RAIN DATE AUGUST 9 AT NOON
